Our driver will come and pick you up at the lobby hotel. Please be ready with hat and sun scream. We will then head to Cam Thanh Village, which was a fishing village, a shelter for local and Viet Cong during the war. When you arrive the village, local people will help you to get on basket boat (coracle) for a funny 1hour-ride. You will have chance to: - Experience the most unique transportation in town, basket boat. - Visit the fishing village in Water Coconut Palm, and then try to catch crabs with local fishermen - Learn how to paddle the Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. Explore the tranquil coconut palm flanked waterway of the past war. Transfer to land and back to hotel. End of tour. Morning tour: 09:00 AM Afternoon tour: 02:00 PM Minimum 2 people per booking.

No hassle pick up and drop off in car with English speaking driver ( not motorbike????). Tour operator and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke English well. Our basket boat paddler was friendly and avoided the loud karaoke area, where big group was positioned on the river (our request). A great opportunity to see the coconut forest a d life on the river.

The basket boat tour was great. The owner/ host was a cool guy and we had a great conversation. His English speaking skills are top notch, and this experience was a good one.
