Boat trip over and back is very efficient. But as soon as you get there , you are dropped at a boring village for 1 hour which turned into an hour and fifteen. We turned right at the dock and followed this road through the village and up a huge hill. This gave a spectacular view over the islands. We then walked about 200m down the slope and found a signed beach with not a soul on it. We had a fantastic time there for about 40 mins. If we had of stayed at the village with everyone else we’d have been very bored. Then a twenty minute stop at a beach to allow people to change into togs. Again we took advantage of the location and had a swim or it would have been more waiting around. Then to our snorkelling spot. Snorkels are not sanitised. The masks were not good quality. The lens fell out of the first one I was given. I did not see a head count being done. Coral was pretty. We saw some clownfish, parrotfish, angel fish etc. Snorkelling was about 45 mins. Then back to same beach for another 20-30 mins for people to be get changed. Then onto lunch. The boat left two passengers accidentally behind here and didn’t realise til half way through lunch!!! No head counts. Heaps of food but way too long sitting on this island - we were there for almost 2 hours for no apparent reason. 45 mins would have been long enough for lunch and get us back to explore Hoi An with more time. Guide had limited English
