Cam Thanh Village, known as the kingdom of coconut palms, attracts a lot of tourists not only for its beauty but also for its historical value. Join our tour, it is the perfect way to explore and get closer to the local life of the fisherman people here. You will experience a local colorful market, learn how to deal with the local sellers, and learn all ingredients for the meals. Ride a basket boat for 45mins around the forest to explore the river channels of the Cam Thanh community, and enjoy coracle boat performances by locals which are really exciting. You will be provided instruction from the local fisherman, and learn how to make souvenirs from palm leaves, enjoy boat shaking and crab-catching, and attend a lantern-making class. There will also be a cooking class course by the local host and lastly, enjoy Vietnamese foods made by yourself.

What a fantastic tour! We very strongly recommend this tour to anyone and everybody! Such a lovely family owned business. They were so friendly, welcoming and smiley, from start to finish. The day started with a tour of a local market where we had all those herbs, fruits and vegetables explained what they actually were - it was so delightful to learn! Then we had a fun and picturesque boat ride through the waterways of a coconut water farm, paddled by a charming and cheerful boatsman. Followed by a riverside lantern making class (which we got to keep) and cooking class at the family home of our guide. And the lunch was one of the best we have eaten since we arrived here! Thank you so much for the wonderful tour and your charming family made us smile all day!

What a great morning out. Super friendly family run business situated on the banks of the river. We shopped at the markets and then cooked a meal fit for a king. Great set up- open air under cover kitchen area for the budding chefs (us) to slice, dice and create our delicious lunch. Put this one on your must do list.

Fantastic tour, highly recommend! We were picked up from Da Nang for a small extra cost and taken directly to the coconut forest. The boat ride was a unique and fun experience, although the basket boat rowers don’t speak English. Afterwards we did the cooking class where we made 4 dishes - Vietnamese pancake, spring rolls, chicken papaya salad and pork rice noodles (Cao Lau). We really enjoyed cooking and learning how to prepare the traditional food. We sat down to enjoy our meal and even got a lovely coconut dessert that we weren’t expecting. A special part of this tour was that we got to make our own lantern to take home! This is a family run business and the two girls running it spoke good English and were so lovely and friendly. Thank you for a fantastic afternoon!
