You will be given the option to purchase some local gifts such as coconut leaves, watches, hats, jewelry etc. You will then have a local Vietnamese lunch and ride back to your hotel.

We had an amazing time with our guide, Tai. He’s like the town favorite because everyone knows him. As we rode through beautiful scenery, everyone greeted him. He showed us the best locations and enjoyable moments spending time with the locals. The bike was comfortable and the weather was perfect. We were so lucky that we had cool breezes all day. With a slight overcast, it didn’t feel hot at all. The local lunch was delicious. As we been on vacation for almost 2 weeks now, we really miss home cooking. The lunch really hit the spot. We highly recommend Tai as the tour guide as he spoke perfect English and knows his way around town and people.

We did this bike tour with Tai and he was great, very informative, knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience Vietnamese village life including farming and boat fishing. We stopped for lunch with a local family and it was the best meal we’ve had on our entire trip. I cannot recommend Tai highly enough, he really made the experience special

Cuong was an attentive and knowledgeable tour guide who I’d highly recommend. He informed us of so many details about the environment we traversed through, including the different fishing methods we saw along the way and the culture - even the peanut growing and drying methods we saw on the road. Throughout the tour, and with Cuong’s insights, we were able to observe what life here in Hoi An is like for many people, including the farmers that we met. We may not have learnt all that we did had he not been our guide. As such, I would recommend this tour for anyone looking for insight into authentic Vietnamese living. The only part that I wasn’t fond of was the basket boat ride, as it was the only part that felt like a true tourist trap and farce to boot, but my son enjoyed spinning in the boat and if that’s your sort of thing then you would enjoy this. I can see other reviewers have enjoyed it. Personally, I was tired by the time we arrived at the boat and knowing what I know now, I would prefer not to do it. If like me you prefer more authentic-feeling tourist experiences then I would suggest doing this tour with Cuong but asking not to visit the basket boat. The food at the end, which was at a private family home, was the best food we have experienced in Vietnam so far, so fresh and flavoursome! Simply delicious!
