The tour guide Vu was very good at explaining the tour, the history behind the ruins and was very nice. He also brought us to see an old rice house where we had to experience the local food and noodle making. Extremely happy about this tour and what we have learned from it. Recommended!

This morning we took the My Son tour, very small tour group of two. It is a beautiful place and definitely worth getting there before the crowd...essential to get the full experience. We had Luong as our guide and her knowledge of My Son (as well as general history) was outstanding! One of the best tour guides...if not the best... that we have had! After the My Son tour we stopped by a local village where we both tried our hand at making rice paper before demolishing them.

We (party of two) took part in the My Son Discovery (starting in Hoi An) Tour.
The early morning timing is important, as we were then ahead of the crowds, which might otherwise have diminished our good experience. Our Local UrbanAdventures Guide Nam Pham managed it really well, that we were mostly alone in the various sections of the site. This certainly added to our experience. His explanations and his background knowledge of the site was helpful for us to grasp at least a bit of the Champa culture.
We also enjoyed that he was relaxed enough to go to a local Mí Gà Restaurant on the way back, as we had missed out breakfast (due to the early start) and were hungry.
Thumbs up!
