My Son was recognised as a world cultural heritage site in 1999 by UNESCO. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel by car for the drive to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, which takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival, the guide will spend approximately 2 hours explaining the techniques used to build the temples and details about Champa culture. After the tour, you will drive back to your hotel, which takes about 1 hour. The tour ends upon your return."

Located in the upper area of the Thu Bồn River, near Đà Nẵng City and about 20 km west of Trà Kiệu Citadel, Mỹ Sơn is a cluster of Hindu temples in Duy Phú Commune, Duy Xuyên District. Once a sacred site for the Cham people (known today as Cham), it was used for making sacrifices to the gods. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this renowned architectural complex was dedicated to the god Shiva. Our guide will provide insights into Cham history and their Hindu worship practices. Additionally, you will have the chance to watch a traditional Cham dance performance. Recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999, Mỹ Sơn is a fascinating destination.

Tai was our wonderful tour guide for our private half day trip to My Son. From the beginning, Tai was responsive, professional, and flexible. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of My Son and the Cham people. It was very hot on the day of our tour but Tai remained energetic and excited. He made sure we didn’t miss anything and helped us take photos throughout the tour. He was thoughtful and brought us cold water bottles and wipes. It was a very nice touch! I cannot recommend Tai and the tour enough for when you visit My Son and Hoi An.

We had a very good private tour of My Son with Tai. He was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the beautiful temples. He gave us a great tip to go earlier in the day to beat all the queues and crowds. Not only is Tai an amazing historian, he is an excellent photographer ????
