  • My Son Sanctuary, Duy Phu, Vietnam
    An early morning departure is recommended to beat the crowds and the heat. The guide will meet you at your accommodation. After arriving at the My Son entrance gate, we will take an electric shuttle to the site’s entrance. The buildings at My Son Sanctuary are divided into ten groups, designated by a letter of the alphabet. During our tour we will: Visit group B, C and D are from the 8th – 10th century. They remain quite intact after 1000 years. Visit group A from the early 9th century. This group was almost completely destroyed during the Vietnam War. What remains is still a showcase of the second to none carving and sculpture art mastery of the Cham people in My Son. Visit group G from the 12th century. Here you can see where there has been some rebuilding and reconstruction. Visit group E and F, again from the 9th century. These buildings have also been partially destroyed during the Vietnam War. Enjoy the famous Apsara Dance of the Champa Fairies Visit the My Son Museum We will then return to Hoi An. You can be dropped at your accommodation or place of your choice.

Solo traveler and decided to add another day to my time in Hoi An and booked a tour of My Son and the Museum in Da Nang through my hotel. This tour came with private driver as well. It was well worth staying the additional day and the guide (Vin) was well spoken in English and knowledgable. A great experience.

En primer lugar, hemos hecho algunos cambios al itinerario inicial y se han adaptado sin ningún tipo de problema. Nguyen ha sido un excelente guía y muy atento en todo momento. De todas la excursiones que hemos hecho hasta ahora en Vietnam, son los que nos han ofrecido la comida más Rica.
