PROGRAM : 7:30a.m : Our Driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Hoi An or Da Nang City. Our route is over the Hai Van Pass and depending on time, we will have a brief stop there for you to take photos from this great vantage point. On arrival in Hue, we will take you to visit the Citadel, Hue’s prime attraction, which contains the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor’s Private Residence. Hue has been known as the Imperial City of the Nguyen Emperors rising to glory during their reign from 1803 – 1945. Next, we will visit the Thien Mu Pagoda considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. Thien Mu is an active Buddhist monastery with a former monk who drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime. Then, we will visit the serene Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and built on principles of feng-shui. Our driver will wait for you at Each Stop Patiently & Send you back Hotel.

Our original tour had us travelling by public bus with no option to do any sightseeing en route so we contacted Andy Hoi An Tours on Facebook to see if he could help. We were collected at our hotel in Hue and were only expecting a side trip to Marble mountains but got a lot more. First stop was by a lagoon before traversing the Hai Van pass. Next we were taken to the Dragon Bridge in Da Nang before visiting Marble Mountain. Finally we were then dropped at our hotel. Throughout the journey our driver drove safely and was an excellent guide. The price we paid was very reasonable and helped us make full use of the day. When we return to Vietnam we will certainly look at using this company again.

The driver made an important contribution to the success of our trip. He is not only good at driving safely but also a dedicated instructor. His profound knowledge of local history and culture made the trip more lively and meaningful. He did not hesitate to share interesting information and stories. The scenery of Hai Van Pass and Hue made us feel like we had an intellectual companion. We cannot help but praise the flexibility of this service, especially when it comes to arranging times and schedules. Everything went smoothly, comfortably, without any significant incidents.
