We went to the Marble Mountains by 7 seat Grab car from Da Nang. We decided to take the lift upstairs (half ticket price) and to descend by foot. The little one's stroller we deposited at the ticket counter (the ticket sellers were took it inside the counter building).
When arriving upstairs, we took the route through the caves, which were impressive. But it was way less cold than we expected. It was close to the same temperature as outside, no extra jackets necessary. In the last cave, we have two options: to just look into it or to go through it. Going through is a bit tough, as the pass is very narrow and high at one place. But we decided to try. Lifting up the little one (2.5y) went fine. Then, the way became a bit rocky, but if you are not at the super-anxious side, it's really okay. You can hold on very well using the railing.
Arriving at the rally point, we bought some coconuts for refreshing. Then we took the rest of the way down using the stairs.
In the end, the trip was really nice for half of the day. The kid did it well, with a little help from us.
