This cooking tour is different from a cooking class. The tour takes you to the countryside of Hoi an, Cam Thanh village (around 4kms from the center). It combines some small activities like: discovering the local market, boat trip on the river, basket boat sailing, water buffalo cart transfer to the restaurant and on arrival relax with a foot, head, shoulder massage before cooking class commences. The morning tour begins at 8:00am and returns to your hotel around 1:00pm The afternoon tour begins at 1:00pm and returns to your hotel around 6pm This tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off and all activities listed.

The instructors were so passionate and made cooking fun and easy. The basket boat ride was unforgettable, and the whole day felt like spending time with friends. Absolutely loved it.

Myself and my wife had a brilliant time on this tour. We were picked up early from our hotel, and introduced to Hung, our guide for the tour. Hung took us around the nearby market and talked us through the local herbs, vegetables and fish on offer - this is was great start to the day and a highlight for me. We then had a great time on a basket boat before going to the restaurant for the cooking class. The whole team were really attentive and Hung was a brilliant teacher!! The dishes were delicious and we were sent away if recipes so we can try to recreate at home.

We had a amazing time from the moment we were picked up! Our guide/chef was full of knowledge walking us through the food markets explaining all the fresh produce. We laughed so much on the bucket boats before heading to the cooking class. Again our chef was amazing - explaining each step of every dish and doing it with a smile and making us feel so welcome. Each dish was absolutely delicious. A great way to spend a day in the most beautiful town in the world. Highly recommend.
