I enjoyed my first trip to Copan with a friend through Honduras Tours! Our guide Eli was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about history and adventure. He was very attentive to what we wanted to see, showed us great spots to eat in the area, and accommodated our request to return to the city (San Pedro Sula) earlier. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking a historic and artistic journey into the Mayan world through Copan!

If you want to go into tunnel buy ticket at entrance. Met two people who walked thru. I tried and a guy Came up asking for 20USD. It's only 40 lympias at booth. The site is doable in a couple of hours. Don't really need guide unless you are a full on history buff. Well worth a visit. Some really good protected stone images
