Roatan Beach Break is a great option for families and friends that wish to visit the renowned West Bay beach on Roatan. Relax under the swaying palm trees while listening to the live local island music or lounge in the shallow Caribbean water while sipping tropical cocktails. Enjoy a wide variety of activities including snorkeling, scuba, jet skis, fly/jet board and parasailing, among others! The price of the tour includes: Round trip transport, Use of facilities, Free WIFI, restrooms/changing rooms, beach chairs, showers etc… The use of beach chairs however is on a first come, first served basis as they are limited. *If pre-booking we guarantee beach chairs with our packages however. All our bookings will enjoy the privacy and tranquility of the BananaRama Beach/Dive Resort or Henry Morgan beach resort, as our preferred location on the incredible West Bay beach. Our representatives will be at our on-sight kiosk for information and beach activities and tours.

Meeting Location/Transport Information & Meeting Time:
There are two Cruise Centers in Roatan. The directions for both locations are listed below. Please depart your ship one hour upon arrival to port and proceed to the designated meeting area listed below to check in with your representative.

Mahogany Bay Cruise Center directions:

exit the ship and walk up the main path into the shopping area.

continue past the fountains, through the shopping area, to the building with a red roof on the right.

enter that building and walk to the end where the white taxi's park.

make a left and walk up the hill and you will see a white gate. Go through the gate and down the hill.

your Detour Roatan guide will be on the right with a Detour Roatan sign to check you in and take you to your shuttle. Your Roatan Adventure is about to begin! Enjoy your day!

Town Center/Coxen Hole Cruise Center directions:

exit the Ship and walk in to the main shopping area.

look for the Excursion Booths where tours are sold.

look for the numbers & signs above the booths at the top.

South Shore Adventures/Detour Roatan is the Booth and our tour guide will check you in and designate your party to the shuttles.

Tips: Wear sunscreen, bug repellent and bring your bathing suit and towel for the optional beach stop. Cameras recommended. Bring Cash or Credit Cards for drinks, tips, souvenirs and shopping.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Detour roatan took care of us … Jason the owner picked us up at our hotel …. Took us to infinity bay for the day … beautiful resort … we used detour a few times during our visit & highly recommend them … great drivers & get you where you need to be & make sure you have the best island experience… thank you Jason & crew for a warm roatan welcome

The excursion ticket did not give details for meeting point at port so we waited for 2 hours and didn’t see our tour guide. We ended up finding another taxi on the spot to go to the beach.
