Get ready for a unique water taxi tour and sightseeing experience up to the east side of Roatan lush island, where you will visit the mangrove forest next to Oak Ridge fishing community and explore the local living multiple fishing communities. This tour includes a sightseeing island tour to the east side of the island plus a one-hour floating experience in a wooden water taxi that takes you from Oak Ridge to Caribe Point villages, where you spend about 20 minutes floating through mangrove channels that surround the water taxi in a foliage tunnel above and turquoise waters below. The tour crosses the picturesque fishing communities of Lucy Point, Jones Ville, and Blue Rock. After passing the mangrove tunnels, the local captain will take you to renowned restaurants in the area such as Hole in the Wall or Jones Ville Point Marina Bar & Grill, both located in the Jones Ville fishing community.

The whole experience was outstanding. The initial booking and feedback was very professional and reassuring. Meeting our guide (Casey) outside the port was easy. We felt very safe and looked after for the whole trip. Casey was a star. The mangrove water taxi with Capt Alex was an amazing.unique experience. We felt we learned a lot about Roatan and now have a desire to go back. Finally we were back at the port in plenty of time. Highly recommended

We spent approximately 7 hours with Luis traversing the island, which included the Mangrove and a Garifuna Culuraltural performance. Luis did a fantastic job throughout the day, but it was not until we were forced to address a guest's medical emergency that his humanitarianism shined through. Not only did we detour to a medical facility, but he acted as the translator, then dropped us off at our hotel and returned to pick up the guests. He was AMAZING! I tip my hat to you, Senor Luis.
