(Went in March of 2024) Not much to say about this place. We use this regularly to cross from Shenzhen to Hong Kong. If you are entering from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, you have to fill out a little piece of paper, answering information like your name, passport number, where you're staying in China, ETC. It's just a bay crossing. The paper that you have to fill out every time you cross from Hong Kong to Shenzhen is very annoying, so get ready to fill that out every time you cross from Hong Kong to Shenzhen.

We went from HKIA to Zhuhai.
It’s silly that one has to watch YouTube videos (and not one but a couple) to find out how exactly to do this. And the irony is that the best video was done by a westerner.
Anyway here goes:
1. After emerging from customs, go to the bus section on the right side. Doesn’t matter which arrow, as long as it is “bus” it’s fine
2. Go to B4.
3. Pay HKD9.1 per adult per way in cash (no change given), or struggle with their Alipay or something (good luck with that, I see lots of folks fumbling).
4. At the HK part of the bridge, purchase the golden bus ticket - if you use the DIY machine, you have to use Alipay or WeChat pay. If not, you can always advance a little to see the cashier and pay with a credit card.
5. Take the golden bus to the Zhuhai part of the bridge. Go through customs, and you’re done.
Note that if you are going in reverse and intend to board a plane, it is NOT the exact reverse!!!! The only one difference in the return trip is that you need to first go to the counter on level three to register your flight details, BEFORE going through customs and immigration. Only after you have cleared these, proceed downstairs to check-in your luggage immediately and then there is some free shuttle bus for you that takes you straight to departure area.
