Shark's Cove, Pupukea, Hawaii, United States One of the most famous snorkels and dive beaches on the North Shore. Sharks Cove has been rated by Scuba Diving Magazine as one of the “Top Twelve Shore Dives in the World”. Located on Oahu’s world-famous North Shore, this small rocky bay forms part of Pupukea Beach Park and boasts blue water and an impressive amount of sea life. The bottom is made up of large smooth boulders and coral heads forming small caves and ledges for marine life to hide.
Banzai Pipeline, Pupukea, Hawaii, United States One of the most famous surf spots on the North Shore, this beach is also known as the “Banzai Pipeline” for its barreling waves. During winter, massive swells break on shallow reefs, making it a dangerous beach for only the best and bravest surfers. The pipeline is notorious for huge waves which break in shallow water just above a sharp and cavernous reef, forming large, hollow, thick curls of water that surfers can tube ride.
