Alexandra was a fantastic guide. She made me feel very comfortable on my horse and provided some interesting information about the region as we rode through it. She was also very knowledgeable about the horses. Her humour was also top notch and she was very personable. The free blueberry schapps was a fantastic surprise!

Not the usual tourist ride where you get a horse that just follows the horse in front. Sokl (Hawk) was very well schooled and responsive to subtle aids. It was the first time back in the saddle for 5 years for me, but I felt relaxed, knowing that all the staff love the horses and really care about their and the riders' wellbeing. I want to say that Leni, our 14 year old guide, was amazing! She was not only an accomplished rider (from the age of 3), but very knowledgeable and so attentive to the 3 riders under her care. She took lots of photos on the ride, then sent them to our phones so we have a great record of our 2 hour ride. This is definitely an experience to return to next time I come back to Slovenia.
