The Ben Hai River was demarcation line between North and South Vietnam During Vietnam-American War. This makes a DMZ- Demilitarized Zone of five km each from the river. However during the war, the death was happened near here. This tour to DMZ will take you back to the war sites.

They are located on the banks of the relic cluster at the intersection of National Highway 1A and Ben Hai River The North belongs to the Hien Luong village, Vinh Thanh commune, Vinh Linh district. The South belongs to Xuan Hoa village, Trung Hai commune, Do Linh district, Quang Tri province.

    Vinh Moc Tunnel (Địa đạo Vĩnh Mốc) an underground miniaturized village is the largest historical tunnel in the DMZ of Vietnam. Deep beneath the dark earth, hidden from screeching bombers and harbouring desperate soldiers, the people of Vinh Linh, Quang Tri lived for many years in the now famous Vinh Moc Tunnel. They survived, and even prospered in their makeshift underground community. During that time, 17 children were born in the tunnels, each of whose lives is a testament to just how perfect the complex network of caves and warrens were at protecting those forces within. As time goes by, it has become both a historical evidence and a tourist destination for discovering a heroic period of Vietnam’s history.

We had an amazing trip from Hue to Phong Nha. Mr. Son picked us up early in the morning at our hotel in Hue and drove ist all the way to Phong Nha. The drive was very comfortable in the airconditioned Car with enough space for all our luggage. On the way, we stopped at Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River as well as at the Vinh Moc Tunnels. Mr. Son always helped us to find our way, organised our Tickets, and gave us enough time to visit the places. Thanks for the nice and comfortable private tour! Big recommendation! ????

Highly recommend this team - take you exactly where you want to go, I changed the schedule a few times and it wasn’t an issue cars are comfortable and the Jeep is a must do to the DMZ (worth the extra money) stopped on the way back via road side places for food which was great. Will definitely use these guys again and highly recommend - we did day trips, dmz, Lang co, golden hands, da nang over three days
