Matthew was recommended to us by friends who had been on one of his tours previously. We opted for the full day tour and it was fantastic: Matthew was so friendly and informative and is very passionate about the history of Hue. The places we visited were so interesting and the lunch was delicious! We really couldn’t have hoped for a better tour guide - thank you Matthew!

This is a must-do tour for anyone visiting Hue! Matthew is an excellent guide who is incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and is able to contextualize every stop of the tour within the broader history of Vietnam. Matthew was a history major, so he knows his stuff and is able to go deep. And he is generous with recommendations for things to do/places to eat beyond the tour.
