    Khai Dinh Tomb is one of the famous tombs in Hue. The Tomb was built in 1920 under the order of Khai Dinh - The King of Nguyen Dynasty. After his ascendancy to throne in 1916, Emperor Khai Dinh chose the slope of Chau Chu (Chau E) Mountain, which is 10km from Hue center, to construct his “home in the other world” – according to Oriental belief. It was started bulding in 1920 and completed 11 years later, by his successor – Emperor Bao Dai.

David was such a great guide. He showed my gf and I nice places around Hué. He is very friendly and interesting to listen to. The trip was tailor made to fit our needs. He also always has some nice stories to tell about the people and the culture. He prepared his own device to have more material to show us during the visits. I would strongly recommend David if you want to visit the area and get some knowledge while having a great time.

David gave us a comprehensive tour of Hue that included all the attractions on our wish list. We also enjoyed some additional activities :Dragon Boat tour on Perfume River, Ricksaw tour around the Citadel and a visit to Incense Village. The food on the tour was top notch. He also recommended restaurants for our evening dining that met our satisfaction and were greatly appreciated. We found David to be extremely knowledgeable both in the history and everyday life in Hue. David was always very professional, pleasant to deal with and had a great sense of humour. We would highly recommend David as a Tour Guide. You will definitely not be disappointed.
