Come along to this fascinating full day tour in Huacachina from Lima. We visit Tacama which is the oldest vineyard in southamerica and sample different types of wine and pisco (Peruvian Brandy). We are guided for an expert to learn about the whole process. At the end of the tour you have the chance to have a fancy lunch at the beautiful restaurant into the vineyard. The second vineyard is a small, family-run bussines where Pisco and traditional red wine is produced using the same techniques that were used by the descendants of the Spanish Conquerors. We can see the clay jars known as “botijas” where the juice of crushed grapes is fermenting during March (harvest time), Our tour guide will explain you how this family make Pisco and traditional wine using the same techniques from one hundred years ago.

We booked this tour to do a wine tasting and get to know a little more about Ica. We tasted a wide variety of wines, all very good. Like the cherry of the cake, we also tried pisco and honestly it was very strong but nice. We recommend this tour!

On this tour we taste a great variety of wines and of course the national brandy, Pisco. We toured Nieto and El Catador vineyard. I definitely liked Nieto a lot more, since the place was beautiful and the wine excellent. I will recommend this tour to more friends!

It was a very beautiful day for me and my family, Tacama is a very spacious and beautiful place to explore with the family. We loved the horse show, we really enjoyed the tour of the facilities and above all the delicious food that they offer there, in the end I bought some wines to enjoy with the family, really a day to remember.
