When our travel planner Yellow Kudu Holidays from Singapore signed us up for the tour Vatnajokull Super Jeep and Glacier Hike ,we thought it was going to be an easy walk , perhaps like walking on an ice skating ring .( the background to this us that we are a group of 7 ladies aged 50-70 ). However, we when we encountered a crevasse to go down to the ice cave , a lot of us wanted to give up . But we had a fantastic wonderful young Polish guide Alex who encouraged us on . He said we could do it and he would help us and he did , every step of the way ! He was extremely patient and cleared the path for us often . His attitude is superb and he said if we don’t do it , we would miss the opportunity of a little lifetime ! He also knew how to that the best shots ! We are so grateful to him for challenging us and showed us that age is no barrier . We want to give him 5 stars for his service !

What an amazing experience and our guide Damien was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable and friendly. We were in a group of 7 which made it even more personalised. After we had gone exploring the ice cave and cravats we then hiked over the glaciers and Damien made sure we were all up for a bit more of a hike which we were so he took us further to other bits of the glacier which were stunning
