We had an excellent time on our guided tour of Craters of the Moon. We've been there twice, now. The first time, we went by ourselves and our day trip was so-so. We really didn't know what we were looking at, so we didn't really get that much out of the area. I just saw rocks. Our second time visiting Craters of the Moon was with Big Green Adventure Tours. Our tour guide made all the difference. Our guide was very knowledgable and was able to point out "points of interest" and explain what we were looking at. It really brought the experience to life for us. There’s no comparison between our first self directed day trip there and our second guided tour trip there. To us it was almost like visiting a totally different place! Our guide really brought it to life! We highly recommend this tour company.
