Don’t trust the positive reviews. We were asked constantly the entire second day of our trip to leave a positive review and the driver was checking trip advisor while driving. I ended up leaving a 5-star review on trip advisor because it was to the point where I felt unsafe. All of the info given as part of the tour is related to the 3 overpriced stores they force you to go into where pushy salesman won’t leave you . I know this is common with Indian tour companies but the whole trip felt like a scam to get you to buy things when all I wanted was the experience I already paid for. I do feel bad for the tour guide and driver because it’s clear they don’t get paid by the scummy company unless they receive positive reviews, but next time I go back to Agra (and I do happen to be going back in a few weeks) I will just hire a driver from a reputable company and plan the site seeing myself.
The positives were having all the details of the trip planned for you and the actual site seeing was great, but I’m leaving a 1 star review to balance out the 5-star review I was coerced into leaving on trip advisor.
