    Agra Fort is one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture, a style that combines different elements from Indian, as Persian and Islamic architectural styles. It was built by Emperor Akbar, the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques. You can arrive at the great Agra Fort at whatever time best suits you. It is open from sunrise to sunset every day. You can opt for pick up and drop off from Delhi / Agra by private car.

We were given a good tour of the Taj, it rained so we couldn’t visit the Agra Fort. Amir was a great photographer and I’d recommend him especially for that as well. Actually it was a bonus. Thanks Amir. The only advice I’d give was, we were taken to see the marble and rug shops later. I felt this was unnecessary as it was not really part of our plans. We went in Agra to just see the sites and not to shop for marble or rugs. I’d advise the tour should concentrate on that and not include any shopping unless the customer requests it. Otherwise the actual tour part was great.
