The houseboat make a trip through the beautiful rivers and canals with an hour lunch break. Houseboat makes a trip through some of the beautiful villages in Alleppey. These are Kainakari Village and Kuttithod and boat reach a place called Kuttamangalam. We provide 1hr country boat to experience the narrow canal called Kuttamangalam canal where houseboat cannot make a trip. This 1hr trip gives breath taking scenic beauty of the local village, paddy field etc. After an hour of this country boat trip, houseboat start moving towards its final location for halt.

Excellent views, clean waters. The service on the boat is pretty decent as well. But…. After about 2 hours the whole thing became an ordeal, the boat was tied to the back side of a building with extremely dilapidated grounds. Garbage all around. Stayed stuck. Morning sunrise ride was too late. The best part was getting off the boat. I recommend a scenic ride rather than the overnight excursion.

A unique and exclusive 6 hours day trip in a clean houseboat with all amenities and stunning lunch on board. Just wish it was longer. I strongly recommend longer day trip options ie. start out from 08h00 or 09h00 already anx rnd at 17h00. Gorgeous scenery. Wateryways get a little congested after lunch, but still great!

We had the whole boat to ourselves. Instructions to port were clear, two staff members that were superb but quiet. No endless chatter. Food delicious. A perfectly peaceful day travelling around the backwaters of Alleppey. The trip included an hours travel on a smaller canal boat too. We did not stay on the boat overnight but I saw the bedroom and it looked amazing. If you like peace and quiet this is the trip for you.
