My tour was fantastic. I did it as a day trip from Delhi. Ashish was able to arrange pickup and drop off from the airport for a reasonable extra fee. Driver was there waiting and Ashish was coordinating in real time to ensure we connected. Lazia was a wonderful tour guide, friendly and very knowledgeable. As beautiful and impressive as the golden temple was, getting to see the kitchen area of where they feed all the pilgrims may have been my favorite part of the Golden Temple. Lazia talked me through the operation and its connection with the Sikh faith, which was fascinating.
There was a long gap (4 hours) between the temple tour and border ceremony because of the temple would be too hot in the middle of the day (at least this time of year) and when the border ceremony occurs. I went to a mall, which was fine, though many stores were closed. I went to the Partition Museum, which was a great and interesting introduction to the next part of the tour.
What to say about the Wagah border ceremony, it’s an experience and well worth it! Lazia sat in another section, which was not an issue. On the way back I was able to ask her all sort of questions.
This tour is designed for people staying in Amritsar. It’s doable as a day trip from Delhi but flight schedules made it a long day. It might be nice to have add-on options for those without hotel rooms to return to beat the heat between the two portions of the tour. Not a criticism at all, just a suggestion.
All in all, a great tour and I highly recommend! Thank you, Ashish and Lazia!

Leisurely paced, private tour of the Golden Temple, Jalliawala Bagh and Wagah border ceremony. Our guide Lazia was very good. Car and driver Sonu were also very good. Took great care of us. Lazia gave us an excellent tour of the temple’s kitchen. Great value.
