Palm-fringed Miramar Beach sits at the confluence of the river and the Arabian Sea. Set on a hill overlooking the city is the baroque Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, built in 1619.

Jonas, our guide, gave us a thorough insight into the many wonders and charms of Goa. He is not just very knowledgeable, but has great conversational aplomb too! Remember to ask him where to have dinner later: we loved the place he recommended so much we went there two nights in a row!! :)

We had a fabulous day out with Jonas who was really knowledgeable and happy to flex the day so that we could spend time on the elements that most interested us. He arrived on time and we travelled in an air conditioned large people carrier type of vehicle which meant we sat high up with excellent views. Jonas was happy to share a lot about Goan culture, his life and upbringing in India and that really brought the whole experience to life for us. I would definitely recommend this trip.

What a great tour! Our guide, Avi, was super knowledgeable and was so professional and friendly. Our driver, Atish, did a great job driving and keeping us comfortable. A really informative tour that I’d absolutely highly recommend to anyone who wants to get to know Goa.
