We will meet at the entrance of Golden temple, after introductions and a little chit chat I will take you on a journey you will never forget. We will walk down the stairs into the main complex where our journey will begin. We will circle the Holy lake the traditional way, paying respects to different Gurudwaras along the way. After witnessing the heaven on earth, we will eat langar (Free community kitchen) which serves hot meals to more than 50,000 people a day. After finishing the meal, I will show you around the giant sized kitchen where these humongous meals are prepared. Then we will walk toward the entrance of the complex where after climbing up the stairs our adventure will end. Bidding farewell with face full of smiles and mind full of memories.

We had such a wonderful couple of days in Amritsar. Amrit, our guide was absolutely amazing, so knowledge. We learnt so much and will take a lot away.

A fascinating history and religion lesson made by Amrit. I came of the tour a bit more knowledgeable! The Golden Temple itself is a magnificent architectural complex with so much life going on in its court. Makes for an ideal people watching experience to understand even more about Sikhism and Punjab in general. 100% recommended!

First met Amritpaul in February 2020 when he took us on a guided tour of the Golden Temple starting at 3.30am to witness the holy book coming down. We spent over 4 hours walking around this fascinating Gurdwara where Amritpaul showed us each nook and cranny along with the many smaller Gurdwaras within the Golden Temple. Upon our return 3 years later in February 2023 he took us on a small culinary tour of the gullies within Amritsar and we tasted delicious Kulchas, Chola Bathura, Gulab Jamun, Jalebi and Rasgulla. He is a fount of knowledge about Amritsar having lived in this city all his life. Highly recommended and we look forward to seeing him again on our 3rd trip to this amazing city.
