What fun it was -getting on to a cycle after so many years. Our guide Husain comes across as a passionate Naturalist. the stop at the mangrove was the most interesting -to understand about the trees that grow there.

OK, so I caught a fish on my first cast (directly returned) so that was bound to leave me (less so my wife) with a warm feeling about the tour but this really is an easy way to get off the beaten track in Havelock & learn more about real island life. The cycling is not taxing, largely flat & mostly away from traffic and we were accompanied by guides who were passionate about the local ecosystem and happy to share their deep knowledge of the islands flaura & fauna.
