Maybe i was there in the wrong time as people say during monsoons its fantastic but , i feel its overated, and theres hardly anything there! If you have seen the north east of India then why would you want to go to a place which is not maintained at at all ?

Our guide, Kamlesh, provided expert guidance & information throughout the trip to make our long day extremely worthwhile. From our first stop for tea & coffee in the morning, to break up the long drive, to our last stop on the way back to Mumbai, just in case there were traffic problems, he took very good care of us. Our driver was super attentive & made us feel very safe. Our visits to Karla Caves, Bhaja Caves, Lion Point, and a wonderful lunch where we got to watch the ladies making chapati, were so enriching. And we were able to buy bananas & package of Chikki! The effort of the walks & length of the day was totally worthwhile. Would highly recommend this trip to the adventurous in spirit who would like a day trip outside of Mumbai.
