Karla Caves wee built between the 2nd and 5th centuries. There are 16 magnificent Buddhist caves to be explored.

    A short 7 KM ride brings us to Bhaja Caves. we visit Bhaja Caves. 200 intricately carved steps need to be surmounted before we reach this magnificent specimen of rock cut Buddhist caves. We visit a set of 22 caves located 400 feet above the village of Bhaja.

What an amazing day! We did a motorcycle tour from Mumbai to Karla caves. The Royal Enfield ride was incredible. The Mumbai lonavla highway was very picturesque. Arvind and Madhu were out guides and escorts. They ensured we remained safe in the city traffic. Once we left the city it was smooth ride all the way. The caves were magnificent and the sculptures were fantastic as well. This is a memorable tour and all motorcycle enthusiasts must do this!
