Shanoo is knowledgeable about Taj Mahal and Agra fort. He arrived punctually to pick us up from hotel and shielded us away from the crowds. Both of us ladies felt safe with him.

Our trip to Agra was exceptional! I totally and wholeheartedly recommend Faisal Mohammed. We were also really impressed with our driver, who was safe and swift, we well as thoughtful. (And had good surprise snacks in the spotless car!) Faisal Mohammed was exceedingly knowledgeable, providing the cultural, political, and historic context as well as the aesthetic and architectural details to enhance our appreciation of these magnificent treasures. He had "perfect pitch" in knowing exactly how much information to share, and when to let us wander and wonder a bit. He was very considerate of our well-being, and helped us understand how to respond to unwanted sales pitches at the exits and entrances. He has a delightful sense of humor (funny and clever and wry) and asked us questions to help him gauge the best pace and level of detail to suit our interests and curiosity. We learned so much at all three of the architectural sites we visited, and enjoyed eye-opening visits to a carpet making shop and inlaid marble workshop. At these artisans' workplaces we never felt any pressure to buy; these visits just deepened our appreciation of the immense craft and difficulty these rare and vanishing arts require. Faisal Mohammed is professional and considerate; together with his encyclopedic knowledge, enthusiasm for his subject, and superb English, he is the perfect guide for a day in Agra - and excellent company, as well.
