At 12:30pm, learn about the silk weaving traditions of Varanasi, then take a break for lunch (own expense). Afterward, drive about eight miles (13 km) to Sarnath to take in Dhamekh Stupa, known as the place where the Buddha gave his first sermon. You'll also visit the Archaeological Museum, which features treasures that date to the 3rd-century BC (closed Fridays).

We had an amazing experience on our Varanasi Hindi culture tour with our guide, Anmol. From the very beginning, he was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he made the whole tour feel very personal to us. He took great care to make sure we were always safe and happy, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while exploring such a busy and vibrant city. One of the best things about Anmol was his deep knowledge of Varanasi and its culture. He didn’t just take us to the usual tourist spots—he also showed us very local places that most foreigners would never know about. These hidden gems gave us a much more authentic experience and made us feel like we were seeing the “real” Varanasi. The car was also very clean and comfortable, which made moving around the city smooth and easy. It was clear that Anmol put a lot of thought into every detail, and we really appreciated the effort he made to create a safe, enjoyable, and memorable day for us. Overall, this tour was a highlight of our trip, and we can’t recommend Anmol highly enough. If you want to experience Varanasi in a way that feels both personal and authentic, he is the perfect guide!

Overall a very nice tour, Vinit gave us a very detailed explanation about the places and answered to all our questions. We visited Varanasi in monsoon season,, the Ganga river was over flooded and we were not able to do the bout tour, however, the rest was perfect.
