Gisteren met een oude taxichauffeur wat rond gereden. Vandaag echter werden wij opgewacht door een jonge man, Mukesh, hij was nu onze gids en chauffeur . Een prima jongen die veel vertelde en heel vriendelijk was. Gelukkig, een hele verbetering met de dag ervoor. Dankjewel Mukesh, veel succes in de toekomst, Sjaak en Mirjam.

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig gebucht, also am selben Tag. Uns wurde auf der Webseite die Zeit des Tourbeginns auch bestätigt. Dann kam per WhatsApp die Bitte, doch selbst zum Tourausgangspunkt zu kommen. Nach Verhandlung schickte man uns ein Uber-Taxi. Der Fahrer fuhr mit uns ziemlich chaotisch durch die Gegend bis uns klar wurde, dass er Zeit gewinnen wollte. Auf Nachfrage beim Veranstalter teilte der uns mit, der Guide käme später wegen eines Zugausfalls. Wir sind sicher tolerant, aber fast zwei Stunden im Auto machten uns mürbe. Wir beschwerten uns dann sehr lautstark telefonisch beim Veranstalter, worauf, wie ein Wunder, Anthony auftauchte. Und das war dann wirklich die folgenden vier Stunden wert. Mit viel Herz, Humor, verständlichen Englisch, Liebe und Stolz zeigte er uns Mumbai. Anthony, vielen Dank dafür, Du hast den Tag und den Ruf des Veranstalters gerettet und uns bleibende Erinnerungen verschafft!
