    In the year 1631, construction of this iconic monument was started. About 22,000 laborers and 1,000 elephants completed the construction in 22 years. This epitome of love was entirely built using white marble (brought from every part of India and central Asia). Each of its walls comprises of three arches with attractive trellis screens, which have been carved so delicately that they look like as if made of ivory.
