We had Heru from Happy Trails, who also works for the Gunung Lesure Nationalpark, as our private tour guide and he was always a step ahead of the other guides. On both the 6 hour trek and on the 3 hour trek he spotted wild orangutangs for us, mothers with cups, that came very close to us. Simply amazing and something we will never forget. He also brought us in good sight of the shy Gibbon and very close to the Thomas Leaf Monkey. He also showed us the beautiful Hornbill, the big jungle squirrel and a wild hog! Heru provided much information and many stories about the wild animals in the jungle and we also enjoyed his good company on a half-day tour in the area of Bukit Lawang and on the love tube ride down the river. Heru is the best.

Een geweldige dag gehad waarbij we met onze tourgids Oceng een onvergetelijke dag hebben beleefd. Veel orang oetangs gezien en alles werd verzorgd met betrekking tot het eten, advies en hulp. Daarnaast heeft hij er alles aan gedaan om ons heel de dag te vermaken en kent hij de jungle als geen ander. Echt een aanrader
