This cooking class is great ! Its done in a nice big place/garden outside of Chiang Mai (pick-up and drop-off is included), in open-air pavillions. Before going to the farm, you visit a small "market", which seems to be a "tourist market for cooking classes" and not a real market used by locals. But that was no problem for us, as we have been to many other authentic markets.
On the farm, you take a stroll in the garden, and see how lemon grass, chilies, aubergines, tumeric, galangal etc. is grown. That was very interesting for us.
You then cook in open-air pavillions. Several tasty thai dishes, very well explained, and its great fun. You can choose between 2 options for each course, and there is also always a vegetarian variation, so everybody should get happy. What I like: you cook 1-3 dishes and then eat them, before continuing to cook (instead of cooking everything and then just eating all at once). It is for most people (us included), too much food.
