International Stand Up Comedy Showcase - Tickets

Great stand up, we laughed all the time. The host Mary Bourke was hillarious. And Dinesh Nathan was fantastic. Really great fun! Also recommended for non Uk folks like ourselves, it was easy to understand and no locals only jokes.

Stand up can be hit n miss on occasions especially when you don’t really know the acts. That said the night was brilliant! Nice little venue, not what you’d usually expect of a comedy club but a good bar and good seating. The comedians inc the mc were soo funny. Edgy, close to the mark and on point… exactly as it should be! Loved it Keep it going!!!

Ok honest review here as I have seen many comedy shows over the years and go to 3 or 4 a year but this is the first time to comedy carnival. I would guess like most comedy events its all based on how good the acts are. VENUE - It looks like a business hall with a bar in, the type of room where you might hold a cheap wedding reception or similar, nothing special, The bar only serves from bottles, no draft, but ok priced so not bad, the seating is in rows and tightly packed, close to the stage there are 2 support poles and these restrict vision for a number of people but no chance the seas will be left empty, No standing at the bar whilst the acts are on. THE ACTS - I can not find anywhere where you can leave reviews on the acts themselves but I was not impressed at all. IMRAN YUSUF - Anti white racist is how I'd describe him, not many laughs from the room, only a very few nervous ones. Not funny and reading the room that was the general feeling. MICHELLE SHAUGHNESSY - ok, but not great. A Canadian living in the UK complaining about how bad the UK is, how poor she is. Pointing out the state of the UK is funny as we all know its true. but not hugely funny. DANE BARTISTE - Started his act in a very similar vain to IMRAN TUSUF but seemed to change track when the crowd were not reacting, the best of the 3 but still just ok. MC PETE GIONIS - WAS better than any of the acts.
