This 2-day tour with an overnight stay in Portree takes you to some of the most spectacular sites on the island whilst passing through some of the most beautiful highland scenery. We begin our journey at Loch Carron for a photo stop. After a drive through spectacular island scenery, we arrive at Dunvegan Castle. Take time here to explore the castle and its history. Next we drive to the imposing and dramatic Quiraing mountain range. Before we take in Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls, and the Old Man of Storr. Our overnight stay will be in Portree. The next day we depart Portree to the Fairy Pools. Bring a pair of walking boots to help you reach them. Following stops at Sligachan and Sconser, we head to Broadford where you can enjoy lunch and look for wildlife like otters, seals and even killer whales. Then, it’s onto our 2nd castle of the tour - Eilean Donan. Explore the atmospheric surroundings and take some great photos. We return back to Inverness via Fort Augustus at Loch Ness.

  • Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark.

  • Please note: Dunvegan Castle is only open during summer and Eilean Donan Castle will be closed for weddings on 14th, 22nd & 29th February 2024

This 2 day tour to Skye was absolutely perfect! Our tour guide/driver was amazing. Marita knows the Island backwards and forward and gave us not only history but explanations regarding the way of life in the past and present. Geology is very important here as are the plants and animals. We had an extensive amount of stops to take pictures of the fantastic scenery as well as the adorable animals such as the Highland cows, baby lambs, goats, etc.The roads are very challenging on the island and Marita is a fabulous driver. So patient with the road conditions. I take many tours but I have to say that this is the best of the best for tour guide and location.

We did the 2 day tour of skye from Inverness. Overall skye is beautiful and the tour provided a very satisfying experience. The buses were comfortable and the driver guide Sundy was knowledgeable and energetic. The tunes played added to the atmosphere. Just 1 feedback - the tour spends a lot of time on day 1 in the Donovan castle and we dont get to see properly some other highlights like Old Man of Storr. Even Quirang mountains where we got 20 mins is worth spending more time than going to a tannery for example. These natural wonders deserve more time in my view and the tour should consider planning accordingly.

This was my first tour going solo and was a bit unsure about booking. I’m so glad I did, and recommend this tour to everyone that I meet. By the end of the second day, I had made a group of friends from all over the world (with whom I am still in touch!) and really have Martin to thank, for his fun and flexible approach. Our group was quite diverse and Martin managed not only to make accommodations so that each of us could join in and feel comfortable during every activity, but he also kept everyone captivated throughout the journey. His passion for history shone as he treated us to rare legends and stories, and to the most authentic local experiences. If you’ve played the tourist before and want to kick things up a notch, ask for Martin!
