Join us for a fun evening of whisky tasting, Scottish music and plenty of craic with the team and folk singer Davy Holt. Guests will enjoy three stand out single malt whiskies that have been selected by the team. You will be guided through the whisky and learn about each distillery, its history and the wonderful variety of tasting notes. Alongside of the team, Davy Holt will perform his unique blend of Traditional and Original Scottish songs and music, combined with stories and craic that truly makes for a special evening in the Highlands!
  • Each guest will receive three whiskies and enjoy the live music with each ticket purchased.

If you want to experience local (and non-local) whisky, this friendly and knowledgeable staff will happily guide you through their enormous selection. In addition to the whisky, they have some great cocktails on the menu and also beers and wine. I was there 2 of the 3 nights I spent in Inverness, and dug the cozy vibe and I also learned a ton about whisky (I am admittedly a novice). It was a shame there was an obnoxious group visiting who treated Charlie, the lead bartender, abysmally when he politely asked them to respect the rules of the establishment. But they couldn't dampen what would turn out to be a lovely whisky-soaked night. The place is a little hidden away, which is for the best since it is a very intimate space, so I feel conflicted telling people you MUST go. It's a bit of a local secret.

The only reason this gets a 2 star is the selection of whisky. The guy with the beard was abysmal. He judged everyone in our group. We spent a fortune in there. Very disappointed. It was his 60th too.

The Malt Room was the best evening or our 13 day trip to England and Scotland!! Try to schedule it in. The atmosphere was cozy and the whiskey presentation was exactly what we hoped. We learned about Scotland, we learned about Scottish Whisky and heard great songs.
