Discover the Amazon jungle of Iquitos with Curassow Amazon Lodge, ecolodge located 110 km (68 miles), on the banks of the Yanayacu River, a small tributary of the Amazon River in the Tamshiyacu - Tahuayo Reserve. Protected area that houses one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the entire Amazon rainforest, you can explore the primary jungle to observe primates, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, medicinal plants, giant trees and much more. Wake up in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, surrounded by the symphonic harmony of wildlife. Our 10 comfortable private rooms have a bathroom with shower, windows and doors protected with mosquito nets, balcony with hammocks to relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the Amazon landscapes. The Bungalows have 24-hour electricity, purified water, a fan and high-speed WiFi, that is, a Hotel but inside the Iquitos jungle.

Departure Point

Traveler pickup is offered

Our private speedboat leaves from Iquitos dock at 9:30 AM. Hence, traveler must arrive in Iquitos a day before or on the starting date before 9 AM. No public transportation available from Iquitos to our lodge.
On the last day, our speedboat arrives in Iquitos around 4 PM, hence your flight out must departure after 6 PM.
If your flights itinerary does not match, please contact us, in most cases we are able to adapt our speedboat timetables.

    Couldn’t imagine a better Amazon experience. The lodge was awesome, and our guide Miguel was even more incredible. 3 excursions each day, wonderful food, go!

    Very good trip with this lodge. The people are very professionnal, they definitly know perfectly their jungle. So many animals, different activities (swimming, boat rode, fishing, walking...) they have only private guides so the groups are very small and the guide adjust the trip for you. For exemple we could add a unplanned morning walk with our guide :D thank you for your punctuality, professionnalism and your endless smiles !! We had a great guide (Freddy) who is also proposing private camping trip in the jungle (way more exposed and adventurus than the confort of this lodge !)

    Muy bonita experiencia, viajamos con 3 niños, todos disfrutamos mucho la naturaleza los paseos por el rio, las caminatas y la muy buena y rica comida, la atención muy calida de todos y nuestro guía Leo muy atento,
