About Edgar: Edgar Mohena was born in the Cucama tribe village. He has over 10 years of experience guiding Amazonian tours. He has worked in various jungle lodges and resorts. He has also spent many years heading survival excursions deep in the rainforest. His tremendous knowledge of medicinal plants and animal species has made him one of the best guides and teachers Peru has to offer. Edgar has dedicated his life to preserving indigenous traditions, sharing them with visitors from all around the world.

We've been with Edgar for some days and the experience was amazing. Edgar made us discover the Amazon with passion and respect. Every day was a new adventure on the program: monkeys, dolphins, tarantulas, caimans and many other things. An experience we will never forget, thank you Edgar for being our guide !

What can I say other than "fantastic"? Edgar went above and beyond as a guide, he is a complete professional showing off his intimate knowledge of the rainforest, while also being a perfect travel companion. While exploring the rainforest with Edgar we saw more animals, plants, and fungi than I could have expected (the highlights were: River dolphins, howler monkeys, dragonfish, millipedes, and even a sloth mere meters away)! We had an amazing trip with Edgar, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a guide.

Edgar is a very nice guide with loads of experience. He showed us the magnificent jungle and we got to see some amazing animals. When we couldn't go exploring because it was raining too much, he offered to do all the missen activities on the next day. Overall we have had a very nice stay in the Amazon with Edgar!
