My family and I spent a delightful day with Billy touring the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. He is incredibly knowledgeable, very articulate and friendly. We recommend this tour without hesitation.

On April 1, 2019 Billy picked us up in our hotel. He took us through the entire Dingle Peninsula and spent approx. 7-8 hours with us.
He was fantastic! We had such a wonderful time! He was so knowledgeable about every facet of our journey.
Additionally, he was such a pleasure to be with. We would highly recommend him!!

I had a great day out to Dingle Peninsula with local guide Michael. We looped around the peninsula, stopping at Inch Beach, the Prehistoric Museum, one of several spots where you pay a small fee to see prehistoric ruins (Michael chose the one with an intact beehive hut), the Great Blasket Heritage Centre, Gallarus Oratory, the town of Dingle, and a few beautiful vistas for photo opportunities. Michael discovered early in our tour that I had yet to visit Ross Castle during my stay in Killarney, and insisted on stopping briefly when we returned to Killarney so I could take a look at the castle and lake from outside (the castle had closed by the time we returned) even though we had already been on the road nine hours by then. He proposed a rough itinerary based on my interests at the beginning of the day but was flexible. He discussed the history, culture, and geology of the area when we were traveling between places.
I discovered after booking my tours of the southwest peninsulas that Taxi Killarney and South Kerry Taxi, listed as separate companies on here, are run by the same person, who contracts most of his tours out to area guides. If interested, you can also read my reviews of the two other tours I took through them.
