Titanic Trail Guided Walking Tour of Cobh Operating daily since 1998, this 1 hour gentle stroll through the heritage town of Cobh explores the diverse and magnificent history of Cork harbour, its environs and the architecturally preserved streetscape. The engaging narrative brings together the amazing maritime, emigrant and social history of the area. Cobh was the main departure point for millions of Irish emigrants to the US. It was the last port of call for RMS Titanic, it received the victims and survivors after the sinking of the Lusitania during the first world war. Over many centuries, the invasions, departures, arrivals and utilisation of the port by many different peoples have crafted a fascinating story that will enthral and engage the visitor no matter what their interests. Created by the renowned Dr Michael Martin, this tour will bring you new knowledge and fascinating insights into world stories in the environment in which they were created.

Excellent tour with Eddie! Full of wonderful, interesting facts, presented in an easy going and easy to understand manner. He is a natural storyteller, extremely well versed in the subject, and so comfortable in how he tells his stories. We highly recommend this tour and it, along with the Cobh Heritage Center, are the only tour and museum you will need to do, to take in all things Titanic and Lusitania.

If looking for a short one hour tour that highlights the basics of Cobh and the Titanic, this tour is for you. Our guide was accommodating and shared high-level info about immigration, Spike Island, the Titanic and the Lusitania. Nice intro to Cobh!

We had a wonderful experience on the Titanic Trail Tour with Eddie! He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and great with our kids. His storytelling brought Cobh’s history to life in a way that was engaging for the whole family. A definite must-do if you’re visiting Cobh!
