If you are staying in Isla Mujeres, getting to the park is very easy. Garrafon Reef Park is located at the southern point of the island facing Cancun. You just need to take a taxi at any spot of the island or outside your hotel you should find a taxi base.
  • We have 2 ferry services according to your booked program: at 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
  • The use of a safety vest is required for some Garrafon water programs.
  • Please note that the arrival point for your return will be Playa Langosta. Consider this information if you, for example, leave a car in Marina Aquatours.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

El parque es pequeño y muy concurrido, hay que hacer filas largas para poder pasar por las tirolesas y esnorkelear, el pase VIP no me sirvió de nada, yo tuve que ir por mis bebidas a la barra, les hace falta mas capacitación en cuanto a empatía a los empleados.

AWFUL experience!! I booked this excursion through AMStar DMC and felt most of the information on the site was very misleading and really think that is more on Garrafon Park and not AMStar as everything promised for the day was non-existent or minimal to cover what they say for the adventure. First breakfast, if your idea of a breakfast is cookies then you are all set.....my boys were loving it! The promise to see downtown or any of Isla Mujeres island is non-existent as we seen nothing of the island! VIP......don't get me started on that one as there is nothing VIP at this reef park. The premium drinks were not there, AMStar stated a infinity pool but Trip advisor is more accurate with calling it a jacuzzi as it's on the second floor deck of the building where you get your VIP lunch. The lunch is edible but nothing to rave about and to tell you the truth the lunch in the non-VIP area looked about the same. So where is the upgrade for the extra price I paid???? Don't say in the zip line as it is lame and you have to be completely dry to ride it.......so do that first and as many times as you want to climb the hill to get to it before thinking of getting in the overcrowded pool or ocean. Last, there are only a handful of chairs to sit in at Garrafon so hope you are the first off the boat so you can run to get one!! I will say the only thing worth it is the extra dolphin experience, this is probably the only benefit to the excursion VIP as we got the early time slot so I am assuming it's due to paying for the VIP. My boys loved the dolphins and still talk about that weeks after!! I usually hear what a great time they had with the dolphins and it would have been perfect if they didn't have to go to Garrafon!
