The tour guide was awful in educating us and hosting the tour. He was friendly but very unorganized. The bus had mold on it and was incredibly dirty.

Well designed tour but somewhat disorganized. Leaving the encounter point took almost 1 hour in Jerusalem and the guide looked like he was upset with somebody that day. Putting us in a hurry all the time. Difficult to talk to him and get information from him. Too many people in the bus (53). Getting in and out was an ordeal. We felt somewhat rushed throughout the points to visit during this visit. This was the Masada, Ein Gedi and Dead Sea tour.

You can hike up the mountain at your own pace which is nice, but they are not kidding when they tell you to be in moderate shape! It is a very challenging walk up the mountain, so if you have knee problems or similar things i don’t recommend this. But it’s a very beautiful sunrise and a very unique experience. You really don’t get a lot of time at the Ein Gedi but it’s fun to see. The beach where you go to swim in the Dead Sea is quite far away from where you park, so I recommend bringing flip flops or something because the stone path and sand is burning hot!
