Upon arriving at Ashdod port we were told to meet our guide outside of the port so we had to take the cruise line shuttle and wait for them to pick us up. The van broke down in Bethlehem and we waited for over an hour for them to replace the battery before heading to Jerusalem. Our entire tour felt rushed. Upon arriving back to the port we were let out at the entrance to the port because our driver didn’t have the credentials to drive us up to the ship. Other private tours did not have that issue so we had to wait for the cruise shuttle to pick us up to get back to the boat. It was an expensive lesson to learn about who viator contracts their tours with.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
