Levi Zelkind is beyond excellent as a tour guide anywhere in Israel. This is no exaggeration. We just spent 2 days on tour with him. Yesterday Caesarea and Mt Carmel; today Jaffa and Tel Aviv. The tours took my wife and I to places unimaginable and incredibly memorable. Levi knows and loves to tell the story of history. At the site history lives again in front of your eyes. We heard stories of history from the Biblical/2nd Temple era down through Roman, Byzantine, Crusades, to the 18 and 19th century. I understand the history of Israel and would never had known it otherwise. We see Israel through a whole new set of eyes as a result of spending time with Levi. I shudder to think that I could have missed this had I made a different choice. I will never regret the past few days. The investment was invaluable. Jaffa and historical Tel Aviv are a must see in order to understand present day Israel. Too many bypass these cities and miss the full picture of Israel.
