The tour with Kubra was the highlight of our trip to Istanbul. We discovered historic neighborhoods, once populated by Greeks and Jews. The places that she took us were incredibly beautiful, and we would never find these by ourselves. Being a tour guide myself in my country of origin, I can testify that her talks on sites were relevant to the travelers, they exhibit knowledge and passion about the places, and not less important - everything was well presented in accessible and fascinating way. I would definitely come back to participate in her tours again in Istanbul! In contrast to the big tour companies, Kubra & her brother run these tours by themselves, so you know exactly what are you getting.

Kubra lead a fantastic tour of Fener and Balat. We did many tours while in Istanbul and her storytelling was by far the best! She brought everything to life with her ability to embody the characters and the history, and she didn’t shy away from telling the real stories of these areas. We did not want an “Instagram” tour, and we were so grateful to have Kubra guide us to these interesting places with even more fascinating stories behind them. Plus Kubra is such a sweet, kind and thoughtful person. We enjoyed every minute we spent with her. Highly recommend!
