Museum Civitatense Basilica di San Simplicio, Olbia, Italy The basilica of San Simplicio, in Olbia, is the most important and ancient religious monument in north-eastern Sardinia and a testimony of the spread of Christianity on the island. Cathedral until 1839, parish church since 1955, it was given the title of minor basilica in 1993 by Pope John Paul II.
It is dedicated to San Simplicio, proto-bishop of the city and martyr under the emperor Diocletian. 15 minutes
Acquedotto Romano, Olbia, Italy The Olbia aqueduct was built by the Romans between the 1st and 2nd centuries. d. C., to collect water from the springs of Mount Cabu Abas.
Next to the aqueduct, a large settling tank was built completely dug out of the stone and provided with six holes for ventilation. On the sides of the cistern there are two other smaller tanks and a well for water inlet and outlet. On the arches you can still see the water transport channels.
It is the best preserved archaeological site from the Roman age in Sardinia. 20 minutes

Ogni hanno questa ditta di servizi turistici offre nuovi e divertenti tour. Consiglio il Tour Archeologico per visitare la storia e i monumenti di Olbia e della Sardegna in modo divertente e rilassante . Non ci siamo mai annoiati , l'autista non ci ha mai messo fretta per visitare i monumenti . Il prezzo è giusto per il servizio offerto. Grazie, alla prossima !

What a lovely fun way to spend an hour and learn a bit about Olbia too ! Alessio was charming and funny and showed us some of the lesser known sights as we zoomed round in his TukTuk - highly recommend as a great way to see a bit of the city ! Mxx
